In this blog I share my research into ‘cross-media entertainment’. This includes all creative uses of multiple media platforms — whether they are transmedia, franchises, adaptations or repurposing.

As for me, I’ve moved all details about me to a single location: www.christydena.com (where else would it be?)

But for a quick overview:

  • I am working on a PhD on how storytelling (indeed all entertainment) has changed in the age of cross-media production at the School of Letters, Art and Media at the University of Sydney, Australia
  • I am a consultant to film, TV and emerging media practitioners on the cross-media design, distribution and marketing of their property
  • I do public speaking and lectures for University and Industry
  • I’m on the Board of dLux Media Arts and a member of the IGDA ARG SIG
  • I co-edit two blogs on new media arts/writing/games etc: Writer Response Theory and SLATE Magazine.
  • I write way too much and not enough
